# Disclaimer
TLSNotary is intended to enable users to privately process and selectively disclose data that they are lawfully entitled to access, using standard cryptographic methods. It is not designed to bypass paywalls, access controls, technical protection measures, or other safeguards, nor to enable access to data that a user is not otherwise authorized to receive.
