dbbff04616 hotfix(frontend): LD remount (#11903)
## Changes 🏗️

Removes the `key` prop from `LDProvider` that was causing full remounts
when user context changed.

### The Problem

The `key={context.key}` prop was forcing React to unmount and remount
the entire LDProvider when switching from anonymous → logged in user:

```
1. Page loads, user loading → key="anonymous" → LD mounts → flags available
2. User finishes loading → key="user-123" → React sees key changed
3. LDProvider UNMOUNTS → flags become undefined
4. New LDProvider MOUNTS → initializes again → flags available
```

This caused the flag values to cycle: `undefined → value → undefined →
value`

### The Fix

Remove the `key` prop. The LDProvider handles context changes internally
via the `context` prop, which triggers `identify()` without remounting
the provider.

based on flag
- Simplify `useGetFlag` checks
- Add `<FeatureFlagRedirect />` and `<FeatureFlagPage />` wrapper
components
- helpers to do 1 thing or the other, depending on chat enabled/disabled
- avoids boilerplate code, checking flagss and redirects mistakes
(especially around race conditions with LD init )

962824c8af refactor(frontend): copilot session management stream updates (#11853)
## Changes 🏗️

- **Fix infinite loop in copilot page**
- use Zustand selectors instead of full store object to get stable
function references
- **Centralize chat streaming logic**
- move all streaming files from `providers/chat-stream/` to
`components/contextual/Chat/` for better colocation and reusability
- **Rename `copilot-store` → `copilot-page-store`**: Clarify scope
- **Fix message duplication**
- Only replay chunks from active streams (not completed ones) since
backend already provides persisted messages in `initialMessages`
- **Auto-focus chat input**
  - Focus textarea when streaming ends and input is re-enabled
- **Graceful error display**
- Render tool response errors in muted style (small text + warning icon)
instead of raw "Error: ..." text

fb58827c61 feat(backend;frontend): Implement node-specific auto-approval, safety popup, and race condition fixes (#11810)
## Summary

This PR implements comprehensive improvements to the human-in-the-loop
(HITL) review system, including safety features, architectural changes,
and bug fixes:

### Key Features
- **SECRT-1798: One-time safety popup** - Shows informational popup
before first run of AI-generated agents with sensitive actions/HITL
blocks
- **SECRT-1795: Auto-approval toggle UX** - Toggle in pending reviews
panel to auto-approve future actions from the same node
- **Node-specific auto-approval** - Changed from execution-specific to
node-specific using special key pattern
`auto_approve_{graph_exec_id}_{node_id}`
- **Consolidated approval checking** - Merged `check_auto_approval` into
`check_approval` using single OR query for better performance
- **Race condition prevention** - Added execution status check before
resuming to prevent duplicate execution when approving while graph is
running
- **Parallel auto-approval creation** - Uses `asyncio.gather` for better
performance when creating multiple auto-approval records

## Changes

### Backend Architecture
- **`human_review.py`**:
- Added `check_approval()` function that checks both normal and
auto-approval in single query
- Added `create_auto_approval_record()` for node-specific auto-approval
using special key pattern
- Added `get_auto_approve_key()` helper to generate consistent
auto-approval keys
- **`review/routes.py`**:
- Added execution status check before resuming to prevent race
conditions
- Refactored auto-approval record creation to use parallel execution
with `asyncio.gather`
  - Removed obvious comments for cleaner code
- **`review/model.py`**: Added `auto_approve_future_actions` field to
`ReviewRequest`
- **`blocks/helpers/review.py`**: Updated to use consolidated
`check_approval` via database manager client
- **`executor/database.py`**: Exposed `check_approval` through
DatabaseManager RPC for block execution context
- **`data/block.py`**: Fixed safe mode checks for sensitive action
blocks

### Frontend
- **New `AIAgentSafetyPopup`** component with localStorage-based
one-time display
- **`PendingReviewsList`**:
  - Replaced "Approve all future actions" button with toggle
- Toggle resets data to original values and disables editing when
enabled
  - Shows warning message explaining auto-approval behavior
- **`RunAgentModal`**: Integrated safety popup before first run
- **`usePendingReviews`**: Added polling for real-time badge updates
- **`FloatingSafeModeToggle` & `SafeModeToggle`**: Simplified visibility
logic
- **`local-storage.ts`**: Added localStorage key for popup state
tracking

### Bug Fixes
- Fixed "Client is not connected to query engine" error by using
database manager client pattern
- Fixed race condition where approving reviews while graph is RUNNING
could queue execution twice
- Fixed migration to only drop FK constraint, not non-existent column
- Fixed card data reset when auto-approve toggle changes

### Code Quality
- Removed duplicate/obvious comments
- Moved imports to top-level instead of local scope in tests
- Used walrus operator for cleaner conditional assignments
- Parallel execution for auto-approval record creation

## Test plan
- [ ] Create an AI-generated agent with sensitive actions (e.g., email
sending)
- [ ] First run should show the safety popup before starting
- [ ] Subsequent runs should not show the popup
- [ ] Clear localStorage (`AI_AGENT_SAFETY_POPUP_SHOWN`) to verify popup
shows again
- [ ] Create an agent with human-in-the-loop blocks
- [ ] Run it and verify the pending reviews panel appears
- [ ] Enable the "Auto-approve all future actions" toggle
- [ ] Verify editing is disabled and shows warning message
- [ ] Click "Approve" and verify subsequent blocks from same node
auto-approve
- [ ] Verify auto-approval persists across multiple executions of same
graph
- [ ] Disable toggle and verify editing works normally
- [ ] Verify "Reject" button still works regardless of toggle state
- [ ] Test race condition: Approve reviews while graph is RUNNING
(should skip resume)
- [ ] Test race condition: Approve reviews while graph is REVIEW (should
resume)
- [ ] Verify pending reviews badge updates in real-time when new reviews
are created

290d0d9a9b feat(frontend): add auto-save Draft Recovery feature with IndexedDB persistence
(#11658)

## Summary
Implements an auto-save draft recovery system that persists unsaved flow
builder state across browser sessions, tab closures, and refreshes. When
users return to a flow with unsaved changes, they can choose to restore
or discard the draft via an intuitive recovery popup.

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/0f77173b-7834-48d2-b7aa-73c6cd2eaff6

## Changes 🏗️

### Core Features
- **Draft Recovery Popup** (`DraftRecoveryPopup.tsx`)
  - Displays amber-themed notification with unsaved changes metadata
  - Shows node count, edge count, and relative time since last save
  - Provides restore and discard actions with tooltips
  - Auto-dismisses on click outside or ESC key

- **Auto-Save System** (`useDraftManager.ts`)
  - Automatically saves draft state every 15 seconds
  - Saves on browser tab close/refresh via `beforeunload`
  - Tracks nodes, edges, graph schemas, node counter, and flow version
  - Smart dirty checking - only saves when actual changes detected
  - Cleans up expired drafts (24-hour TTL)

- **IndexedDB Persistence** (`db.ts`, `draft-service.ts`)
  - Uses Dexie library for reliable client-side storage
- Handles both existing flows (by flowID) and new flows (via temp
session IDs)
- Compares draft state with current state to determine if recovery
needed
  - Automatically clears drafts after successful save

### Integration Changes
- **Flow Editor** (`Flow.tsx`)
  - Integrated `DraftRecoveryPopup` component
  - Passes `isInitialLoadComplete` state for proper timing

- **useFlow Hook** (`useFlow.ts`)
  - Added `isInitialLoadComplete` state to track when flow is ready
  - Ensures draft check happens after initial graph load
  - Resets state on flow/version changes

- **useCopyPaste Hook** (`useCopyPaste.ts`)
  - Refactored to manage keyboard event listeners internally
  - Simplified integration by removing external event handler setup

- **useSaveGraph Hook** (`useSaveGraph.ts`)
  - Clears draft after successful save (both create and update)
  - Removes temp flow ID from session storage on first save

### Dependencies
- Added `dexie@4.2.1` - Modern IndexedDB wrapper for reliable
client-side storage

## Technical Details

**Auto-Save Flow:**
1. User makes changes to nodes/edges
2. Change triggers 15-second debounced save
3. Draft saved to IndexedDB with timestamp
4. On save, current state compared with last saved state
5. Only saves if meaningful changes detected

**Recovery Flow:**
1. User loads flow/refreshes page
2. After initial load completes, check for existing draft
3. Compare draft with current state
4. If different and non-empty, show recovery popup
5. User chooses to restore or discard
6. Draft cleared after either action

**Session Management:**
- Existing flows: Use actual flowID for draft key

### Test Plan 🧪

- [x] Create a new flow with 3+ blocks and connections, wait 15+
seconds, then refresh the page - verify recovery popup appears with
correct counts and restoring works
- [x] Create a flow with blocks, refresh, then click "Discard" button on
recovery popup - verify popup disappears and draft is deleted
- [x] Add blocks to a flow, save successfully - verify draft is cleared
from IndexedDB (check DevTools > Application > IndexedDB)
- [x] Make changes to an existing flow, refresh page - verify recovery
popup shows and restoring preserves all changes correctly
- [x] Verify empty flows (0 nodes) don't trigger recovery popup or save
drafts

New `<GoogleDrivePicker />` component that, when rendered:
- re-uses existing Google credentials OR asks the user to SSO
- uses the Google Drive Picker script to launch a modal for the user to
select files

We will need this 3 new environment variables on the Front-end for it to
work:
```
# Google Drive Picker
NEXT_PUBLIC_GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID=
NEXT_PUBLIC_GOOGLE_API_KEY=
NEXT_PUBLIC_GOOGLE_APP_ID=
```
Updated `.env.default` with them.

9316100864 fix(frontend): agent activity graph names (#11233)
## Changes 🏗️

We weren't fetching all library agents, just the first 15... to compute
the agent map on the Agent Activity dropdown. We suspect that is causing
some agent executions coming as `Unknown agent`.

In this changes, I'm fetching all the library agents upfront ( _without
blocking page load_ ) and caching them on the browser, so we have all
the details to render the agent runs. This is re-used in the library as
well for fast initial load on the agents list page.

063dc5cf65 refactor(frontend): standardise with environment service (#11209)
## Changes 🏗️

Standardize all the runtime environment checks on the Front-end and
associated conditions to run against a single environment service where
all the environment config is centralized and hence easier to manage.

This helps prevent typos and bug when manually asserting against
environment variables ( which are typed as `string` ), the helper
functions are easier to read and re-use across the codebase.

374f35874c feat(platform): Add LaunchDarkly flag for platform payment system (#11181)
## Summary

Implement selective rollout of payment functionality using LaunchDarkly
feature flags to enable gradual deployment to pilot users.

- Add `ENABLE_PLATFORM_PAYMENT` flag to control credit system behavior
- Update `get_user_credit_model` to use user-specific flag evaluation
- Replace hardcoded `NEXT_PUBLIC_SHOW_BILLING_PAGE` with LaunchDarkly
flag
- Enable payment UI components only for flagged users
- Maintain backward compatibility with existing beta credit system
- Default to beta monthly credits when flag is disabled
- Fix tests to work with new async credit model function

## Key Changes

### Backend
- **Credit Model Selection**: The `get_user_credit_model()` function now
takes a `user_id` parameter and uses LaunchDarkly to determine which
credit model to return:
- Flag enabled → `UserCredit` (payment system enabled, no monthly
refills)
- Flag disabled → `BetaUserCredit` (current behavior with monthly
refills)

- **Flag Integration**: Added `ENABLE_PLATFORM_PAYMENT` flag and
integrated LaunchDarkly evaluation throughout the credit system

- **API Updates**: All credit-related endpoints now use the
user-specific credit model instead of a global instance

### Frontend
- **Dynamic UI**: Payment-related components (billing page, wallet
refill) now show/hide based on the LaunchDarkly flag
- **Removed Environment Variable**: Replaced
`NEXT_PUBLIC_SHOW_BILLING_PAGE` with runtime flag evaluation

### Testing
- **Test Fixes**: Updated all tests that referenced the removed global
`_user_credit_model` to use proper mocking of the new async function

## Deployment Strategy

This implementation enables a controlled rollout:
1. Deploy with flag disabled (default) - no behavior change for existing
users
2. Enable flag for pilot/beta users via LaunchDarkly dashboard
3. Monitor usage and feedback from pilot users
4. Gradually expand to more users
5. Eventually enable for all users once validated

## Test Plan

- [x] Unit tests pass for credit system components
- [x] Payment UI components show/hide correctly based on flag
- [x] Default behavior (flag disabled) maintains current functionality
- [x] Flag enabled users get payment system without monthly refills
- [x] Admin credit operations work correctly
- [x] Backward compatibility maintained

4a1cb6d64b fix(frontend): performance and layout issues (#11036)
## Changes 🏗️

### Performance (Onboarding) 🐎

- Moved non-UI logic into `providers/onboarding/helpers.ts` to reduce
provider complexity.
- Memoized provider value and narrowed state updates to cut unnecessary
re-renders.
- Deferred non-critical effects until after mount to lower initial JS
work.

**Result:** faster initial render and smoother onboarding flows under
load.

### Layout and overflow fixes 📐

- Replaced `w-screen` with `w-full` in platform/admin/profile layouts
and marketplace wrappers to avoid 100vw scrollbar overflow.
- Adjusted mobile navbar position (`right-0` instead of `-right-4`) to
prevent off-viewport elements.

**Result:** removed horizontal scrolling on Marketplace, Library, and
Settings pages; Build remains unaffected.

### New Generic Error pages

- Standardized global error handling in `app/global-error.tsx` for
consistent display and user feedback.
- Added platform-scoped error page(s) under `app/(platform)/error` for
route-level failures with a consistent layout.
- Improved retry affordances using existing `ErrorCard`.

dd84fb5c66 feat(platform): Add public share links for agent run results (#10938)
<!-- Clearly explain the need for these changes: -->
This PR adds the ability for users to share their agent run results
publicly via shareable links. Users can generate a public link that
allows anyone to view the outputs of a specific agent execution without
requiring authentication. This feature enables users to share their
agent results with clients, colleagues, or the community.

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/5508f430-07d0-4cd3-87bc-301b0b005cce

### Changes 🏗️

sharing
- `GET /share/{share_token}`: Retrieve shared execution data (public
endpoint)

- **Data Models**:
- Created `SharedExecutionResponse` model for public-safe execution data
- Added `ShareRequest` and `ShareResponse` Pydantic models for type-safe
API responses
  - Updated `GraphExecutionMeta` to include share status fields

- **Security**:
- All share management endpoints verify user ownership before allowing
changes
- Public endpoint only exposes OUTPUT block data, no intermediate
execution details
  - Share tokens are UUIDs for security

#### Frontend Changes
- **ShareButton Component**
(`/frontend/src/components/ShareButton.tsx`):
  - Modal dialog for managing share settings
  - Copy-to-clipboard functionality for share links
  - Clear warnings about public accessibility

f82adeb959 feat(library): Add agent favoriting functionality (#10828)
### Need 💡

This PR introduces the ability for users to "favorite" agents in the
library view, enhancing agent discoverability and organization.
Favorited agents will be visually marked with a heart icon and
prioritized in the library list, appearing at the top. This feature is
distinct from pinning specific agent runs.

### Changes 🏗️

*   **Backend:**
* Updated `LibraryAgent` model in `backend/server/v2/library/model.py`
to include the `is_favorite` field when fetching from the database.
*   **Frontend:**
* Updated `LibraryAgent` TypeScript type in
`autogpt-server-api/types.ts` to include `is_favorite`.
* Modified `LibraryAgentCard.tsx` to display a clickable heart icon,
indicating the favorite status.
* Implemented a click handler on the heart icon to toggle the
`is_favorite` status via an API call, including loading states and toast
notifications.
* Updated `useLibraryAgentList.ts` to implement client-side sorting,
ensuring favorited agents appear at the top of the list.
* Updated `openapi.json` to include `is_favorite` in the `LibraryAgent`
schema and regenerated frontend API types.
    * Installed `@orval/core` for API generation.

a8feb3c8d0 feat(platform/builder): implement launchdarkly feature flag for block menu redesign (#10667)
I’ve added a new launch darkly flag to toggle between the new and old
block menu in the builder.

### Changes 🏗️
- A new flag name `NEW_BLOCK_MENU` has been added.
- A new block menu block has been created, which is a normal component.
It will be expanded with more components in the future. Currently, it’s
just a one-line component.
- A new control panel has been created, which improves state
localisation and has a new design according to the design files.

e043e4989b fix(frontend) : Update server-side mutator to bypass proxy (#10523)
This PR helps us bypass the proxy server in server-side requests,
allowing us to directly send requests to the backend and reduce latency.

### Changes 🏗️
- Introduced server-side detection to dynamically set the base URL for
API requests.
- Added error handling for server-side requests to log failures and
throw errors appropriately.
- Updated header management to include authentication tokens when
applicable.

41363b1cbe feat(frontend): agent activity dropdown (#10416)
## Changes 🏗️

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/42e1c896-5f3b-447c-aee9-4f5963c217d9

There is now a 🔔 icon on the Navigation bar that shows previous agent
runs and displays real-time agent running status.

If you run an agent, the bell will show on a badge how many agents are
running. If you hover over it, a hint appears. If you click on it, it
opens a dropdown and displays the executions with their status ( _which
should match what we have in library functionality, not design-wise_ ).

I leveraged the existing APIs for this purpose. Most of the run logic is
[encapsulated on this
hook](https://github.com/Significant-Gravitas/AutoGPT/compare/dev...feat/agent-notifications?expand=1#diff-a9e7f2904d6283b094aca19b64c7168e8c66be1d5e0bb454be8978cb98526617)
and is also an independent `<AgentActivityDropdown />` component.

Clicking on an agent run opens that run in the library page.

This new functionality is covered by E2E tests 💆🏽 ✔️

ae6ef8c0c2 refactor(frontend): improve LaunchDarkly provider initialization (#10422)
### Changes ️

The previous implementation of the `LaunchDarklyProvider` had a race
condition where it would only initialize after the user's authentication
state was fully resolved. This caused two primary issues:

1. A delay in evaluating any feature flags, leading to a "flash of
un-styled/un-flagged content" until the user session was loaded.
2. An unreliable transition from an un-flagged state to a flagged state,
which could cause UI flicker or incorrect flag evaluations upon login.

This pull request refactors the provider to follow a more robust,
industry-standard pattern. It now initializes immediately with an
`anonymous` context, ensuring flags are available from the very start of
the application lifecycle. When the user logs in and their session
becomes available, the provider seamlessly transitions to an
authenticated context, guaranteeing that the correct flags are evaluated
consistently.

### Checklist

#### For code changes:

- I have clearly listed my changes in the PR description
- I have made a test plan
- I have tested my changes according to the test plan:

	**Test Plan:**

- [x] **Anonymous User:** Load the application in an incognito window
without logging in. Verify that feature flags are evaluated correctly
for an anonymous user. Check the browser console for the
`[LaunchDarklyProvider] Using anonymous context` message.
- [x] **Login Flow:** While on the site, log in. Verify that the UI
updates with the correct feature flags for the authenticated user. Check
the console for the `[LaunchDarklyProvider] Using authenticated context`
message and confirm the LaunchDarkly client re-initializes.
- [x] **Authenticated User (Page Refresh):** As a logged-in user,
refresh the page. Verify that the application loads directly with the
authenticated user's flags, leveraging the cached session and
bootstrapped flags from `localStorage`.
- [x] **Logout Flow:** While logged in, log out. Verify that the UI
reverts to the anonymous user's state and flags. The provider `key`
should change back to "anonymous", triggering another re-mount.

<details><summary>Summary of Code Changes</summary>

- Refactored `LaunchDarklyProvider` to handle user authentication state
changes gracefully.
- The provider now initializes immediately with an `anonymous` user
context while the Supabase user session is loading.
- Once the user is authenticated, the provider's context is updated to
reflect the logged-in user's details.
- Added a `key` prop to the `<LDProvider>` component, using the user's
ID (or "anonymous"). This forces React to re-mount the provider when the
user's identity changes, ensuring a clean re-initialization of the
LaunchDarkly SDK.
- Enabled `localStorage` bootstrapping (`options={{ bootstrap:
"localStorage" }}`) to cache flags and improve performance on subsequent
page loads.
- Added `console.debug` statements for improved observability into the
provider's state (anonymous vs. authenticated).

</details>

- `docker-compose.yml` is updated or already compatible with my changes

61d0892686 fix(frontend): init LD on the client (#10414)
## Changes 🏗️

Launch Darkly is not being initialised in production, despite on paper
all env variables being well set 🧐

I tried doing production builds locally, and I noticed this provider
needs to be initialised on the client because Launch Darkly flags are
designed to work on the client side, where they can access user context
and browser environment.

## Changes 🏗️

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/dd635fa1-d8ea-4e5b-b719-2c7df8e57832

Using [LaunchDarkly](https://launchdarkly.com/), introduce the concept
of "beta" blocks, which are blocks that will be disabled in production
unless enabled via a feature flag. This allows us to safely hide and
test certain blocks in production safely.
