* fix: handle failing to enter/exit fullscreen on macOS

On macOS, failing to enter/exit fullscreen can fail. If this happens,
properly restore the original window state.

* refactor: remove fail to exit fullscreen handlers

Seem to be unnecessary since the window exits fullscreen anyway.
