## Description
This PR adds cloud logging admin source, tools, integration test and
docs.
1. Source is implemented in a manner consistent with the BigQuery
source. Supports ADC, OAuth and impersonate Service Account.
2. Total of 3 tools have been implemented
- `cloud-logging-admin-list-log-names`
- `cloud-logging-admin-list-resource-types`
- `cloud-logging-admin-query-logs`
3. docs added for resource and tools.
4. Supporting integration test is added with updated ci
Note for reviewers:
1. Integration test runs on cloud, will require `LOGADMIN_PROJECT` env
variable, the test creates logs in the project using the `logging`
client and then verifies working of the tools using the `logadmin`
client.
2. Moved `cache.go` from the BigQuery source to `sources/cache.go` due
to shared utility.
Regarding Tools:
1. `cloud-logging-admin-list-log-names` uses `client.Logs()` instead of
`client.Entries()`, as the latter is resource heavy and the tradeoff was
not being able to apply any filters, tool has an optional parameter
`limit` which defaults to 200.
2. `cloud-logging-admin-list-resource-types` uses
`client.ResourceDescriptors(ctx)`, aim of the tool is to enable the
agent become aware of the the resources present and utilise this
information in writing filters.
3. `cloud-logging-admin-query-logs` tool enables search and read logs
from Google Cloud.
Parameters:
`filter` (optional): A text string to search for specific logs.
`newestFirst` (optional): A simple true/false switch for ordering.
`startTime ` (optional): The start date and time to search from (e.g.,
2025-12-09T00:00:00Z). Defaults to 30 days ago if not set.
`endTime` (optional): The end date and time to search up to. Defaults to
"now".
`verbose` (optional): If set to true, Shows all available details for
each log entry else shows only the main info (timestamp, message,
severity).
`limit` (optional): The maximum number of log entries to return (default
is 200).
Looking forward to the feedback here, as `verbose` is simply implemented
to save context tokens, any alternative suggestion here is also
welcomed.

This PR introduces a significant update to the Toolbox configuration
file format, which is one of the primary **breaking changes** required
for the implementation of the Advanced Control Plane.
# Summary of Changes
The configuration schema has been updated to enforce resource isolation
and facilitate atomic, incremental updates.
* Resource Isolation: Resource definitions are now separated into
individual blocks, using a distinct structure for each resource type
(Source, Tool, Toolset, etc.). This improves readability, management,
and auditing of configuration files.
* Field Name Modification: Internal field names have been modified to
align with declarative methodologies. Specifically, the configuration
now separates kind (general resource type, e.g., Source) from type
(specific implementation, e.g., Postgres).
# User Impact
Existing tools.yaml configuration files are now in an outdated format.
Users must eventually update their files to the new YAML format.
# Mitigation & Compatibility
Backward compatibility is maintained during this transition to ensure no
immediate user action is required for existing files.
* Immediate Backward Compatibility: The source code includes a
pre-processing layer that automatically detects outdated configuration
files (v1 format) and converts them to the new v2 format under the hood.
* [COMING SOON] Migration Support: The new toolbox migrate subcommand
will be introduced to allow users to automatically convert their old
configuration files to the latest format.

### Description
fix: Surface Dataplex API errors in MCP results
This change addresses issue
https://github.com/googleapis/genai-toolbox/issues/2203, where Dataplex
API errors, such as '403 Forbidden' (Permission Denied), were not being
properly surfaced in the MCP tool results. Previously, these critical
API errors would manifest as generic "connection interrupted" messages,
significantly hindering developer debugging and trust in the Toolbox.
The fix enhances the error handling within the 'dataplexsearchentries'
and 'dataplexsearchaspecttypes' tools. When an error occurs during the
iteration of Dataplex API results, the system now:
Utilizes 'google.golang.org/grpc/status.FromError' to attempt to convert
the returned error into a gRPC status. This is crucial because Google
Cloud client libraries often return errors compatible with gRPC.
If the error is a gRPC status, the canonical error code (e.g.,
'codes.PermissionDenied') and the associated error message are
extracted.
This ensures that users receive clear actionable error feedback,
allowing for quicker diagnosis and resolution of issues like missing IAM
permissions. This aligns with best practices for API error surfacing,
improving the usability and reliability of the Dataplex tools within the
GenAI Toolbox.

## Description
This pull request adds a new tool, cloud-sql-restore-backup, which
enables restoring a backup onto a Cloud SQL instance from the toolbox
using the Cloud SQL Admin API. The tool supports restoring standard,
project level, and BackupDR backups.

## Description
This change addresses the ask where the user may want to use custom
scopes. For instance, the default scope (bigquery) falls short from
running sql that utilizes integration with other google products, such
as Drive, Vertex AI, Cloud Run etc. With this change the user would be
able to configure custom scopes depending on their use case.
The custom scopes can be configured in the tools.yaml file, e.g.:

This PR update the linking mechanism between Source and Tool.
Tools are directly linked to their Source, either by pointing to the
Source's functions or by assigning values from the source during Tool's
initialization. However, the existing approach means that any
modification to the Source after Tool's initialization might not be
reflected. To address this limitation, each tool should only store a
name reference to the Source, rather than direct link or assigned
values.
Tools will provide interface for `compatibleSource`. This will be used
to determine if a Source is compatible with the Tool.

During `Invoke()`, the tool will run the following operations:
* retrieve Source from the `resourceManager` with source's named defined
in Tool's config
* validate Source via `compatibleSource interface{}`
* run the remaining `Invoke()` function. Fields that are needed is
retrieved directly from the source.
With this update, resource manager is also added as input to other
Tool's function that require access to source (e.g.
`RequiresClientAuthorization()`).
Previously we used go-ora (a pure Go Oracle driver) because our release
pipeline did not support cross-compilation with CGO. Now that it's
fixed, we want to add support for Oracle OCI driver for advanced
features including digital wallet etc.
Users will be able to configure a source to use OCI by specifying a
`UseOCI: true` field. The source defaults to use the pure Go driver
otherwise.
Oracle Wallet:
- OCI users should use the `tnsAdmin` to set the wallet location
- Non-OCI users can should use the `walletLocation` field.

This PR is to add the Gemini Data Analytics (GDA) integration for DB
NL2SQL conversion to Toolbox. It allows the user to convert a natural
language query to SQL statement based on their database instance. See

## Description
This commit allows a tool to pull an alternate authorization
token from the header of the http request.
This is initially being built for the Looker integration. Looker
uses its own OAuth token. When deploying MCP Toolbox to Cloud
Run, the default token in the "Authorization" header is for
authentication with Cloud Run. An alternate token can be put into
another header by a client such as ADK or any other client that
can programatically set http headers. This token will be used
to authenticate with Looker.
If needed, other sources can use this by setting the header name
in the source config, passing it into the tool config, and returning
the header name in the Tool GetAuthTokenHeaderName() function.

To keep a persistent backend storage for configuration, we will have to
keep a single source of truth. This involves supporting bi-directional
conversion between Config and Source.
This PR make the following changes:
* Embed Config in Source
* Add `ToConfig()` to extract Config from Source.

This PR adds a new tool to the Looker MCP Toolbox, that enables the user
authenticated to the Looker Source to generate authenticated embed urls
for dashboards, looks and queries. When combined with other tools that
already exist in the Looker toolbox, this enables searching existing
content and providing authenticated urls to them OR creating
authenticated urls from queries generated via Natural Language. The
embed urls will create an embed session for the user and can be opened
directly or added to an iframe `src` attribute to provide a smooth
Embedded Analytics setup.
Additionally this PR adds a new optional parameter to the Looker source
called `SessionLength` which an admin setting up the Looker source can
set to determine how long the Embed sessions last for.

Update bigquery test to include column order for SELECT statement.
Update mindsdb tests to drop table before creating. The whole
integration test pause when there's a failure from any one of
integration tests. If the test pause after `CREATE` and before `DROP`,
the int test will fail when running it again.

Add client cache and automatic cache cleanup.
The cache is managed by a map with OAuth access token as the keys.
Upon user tool invocation, get client from existing cache or create a
new one.

## Description
Removing the `ipAddress` field since it is not an input for Cloud SQL
SQL Server source.
Kept the variable in Source's config but removed this variable from
everywhere else in the code. This will PREVENT a breaking change since
the validator won't flag it as an "extra field".

This pull request adds support for a new `dry_run` mode to the Neo4j
Cypher execution tool, allowing users to validate queries and view
execution plans without running them. It also sets a custom user agent
for Neo4j connections and improves error handling and documentation. The
most important changes are grouped below.
### New dry run feature for Cypher execution
* Added an optional `dry_run` boolean parameter to the
`neo4j-execute-cypher` tool, allowing users to validate Cypher queries
and receive execution plan details without running the query. The tool
now prepends `EXPLAIN` to the query when `dry_run` is true and returns a
structured summary of the execution plan.
