Hi team,

I am self-hosting Vaultwarden and I’m experiencing significant delays when using the search functionality, both in the web vault and in the mobile app.

When I start typing a search query (for example, a 6-letter word), I notice the following behavior:

After I type the full word, only the first 3 letters appear after about 2 seconds.
Then, the remaining 3 letters appear a bit later.
Finally, the search results show up around 7–8 seconds after that.

Overall, the whole process takes around 11 to 16 seconds, which makes searching very slow and frustrating.

Additional details:

We have 43 collections in the organization and about 10 users.
The organization vault contains approximately [number of items — please fill in if possible].
CPU and memory usage appear normal during the search.
Setup:
- Self-hosted Vaultwarden ( k8s, with official image / image: docker.io/vaultwarden/server:1.34.1-alpine (official)).
- Reverse proxy: Traefik 3.2.0.
