e9a9153c22 fix(frontend): rename CoPilot to AutoPilot in workflow import UI 2026-03-17 13:55:38 +07:00

f101b11e25 refactor(platform): replace custom LLM converter with CoPilot agent-generator
Instead of a single-shot LLM call that reinvents agent generation,
the workflow import now:
1. Parses the external workflow (format detection + describers — unchanged)
2. Builds a structured CoPilot prompt from the WorkflowDescription
3. Returns the prompt to the frontend
4. Frontend redirects to /copilot with auto-submit

This reuses CoPilot's battle-tested agentic pipeline (multi-turn tool use,
block schema inspection, AgentFixer, AgentValidator) for reliable conversion.

Removed: custom LLM client, block catalog builder, retry logic, save logic.
The converter.py is now ~50 lines (prompt builder) instead of ~260.

8a70342977 fix(platform): address PR review — sanitize errors, thread-safe LLM client, lazy imports
- Sanitize 500 error detail to avoid leaking internal info
- Add threading.Lock for LLM client initialization (double-check pattern)
- Move AgentFixer/AgentValidator to lazy imports inside convert_workflow()
- Add catalog size guard (_MAX_CATALOG_BLOCKS / _MAX_CATALOG_CHARS)
- Use Next.js router.push() instead of window.location.href
- Use pydantic Field(default_factory=...) for mutable defaults
- Use lazy %s logging instead of f-strings in logger calls

2cbc152654 refactor(platform): cache agent guide and remove unused raw_json field
- Add @lru_cache to _load_agent_guide() to avoid re-reading the file on
  every conversion call
- Remove unused raw_json field from WorkflowDescription — it was populated
  by all describers but never read by any consumer

7b44c3e416 fix(platform): fix Zapier connection index bug and remove duplicate import tag
- Pre-filter valid Zapier steps before enumeration so connection indices
  use valid item count instead of raw list length (same fix as Make.com)
- Remove duplicate tags=["import"] from router decorator (already set in
  app.include_router)

4c91d39f26 refactor(platform): rename 'competitor' to neutral wording + add defensive guards
- Rename CompetitorFormat → SourcePlatform across all backend/frontend code
- Rename convert_competitor_workflow → convert_workflow
- Rename import_competitor_workflow → import_workflow
- Change API path from /competitor-workflow to /workflow
- Rename frontend LibraryImportCompetitorDialog → LibraryImportWorkflowDialog
- Update all docstrings, comments, and UI text to neutral language
- Add defensive type guards in describers: isinstance checks for n8n nodes,
  Make.com modules, Zapier steps, and connection entries
- Add str() cast for operation/resource in _describe_n8n_action
- Add empty workflow rejection in describe_workflow router
- Regenerate API client for new endpoint path

ea84454657 fix(platform): fix Make.com router connections and guard url_fetcher response type
- Router modules no longer get sequential connections_to (branching, not linear)
- Guard against non-dict JSON response from n8n API before calling .get()

ee76c5f430 fix(platform): return 400 for n8n template not found instead of 502
Catch HTTPClientError (4xx from n8n API) separately from server errors.
Template not found (404) is a client input error, not an upstream failure.

3b3bdd6b96 fix(platform): address CodeRabbit review on workflow import
- Add endpoint integration tests (12 tests covering all paths)
- Split ValueError/RuntimeError in URL fetch error handling (400 vs 502)
- Make save failure return 500 instead of silent success with note
- Fix Make.com routes creating dangling connections to non-existent steps
- Guard against empty LLM choices array in converter
- Add comment explaining necessary type assertion in frontend

6e4c8e3393 fix(platform): use is not None in routing to match validator semantics
Empty template_url="" was accepted by validator but caused assertion
error in routing logic due to truthiness mismatch.

Zamil Majdy
684ba74667 fix(platform): address round-2 review comments on workflow import
- Use `is None` checks in model validator instead of truthiness
- Wrap convert_competitor_workflow in try/except → HTTPException(502)
- Fix markdown fence stripping to truncate text after closing fence

5d6a064dac fix(platform): address PR review comments on workflow import
- Replace raw fetch() with generated API client hook in frontend
- Cache LLM client at module level to avoid per-request instantiation
- Remove unused user_id parameter from convert_competitor_workflow
- Move regex/imports to module level in format_detector and describers
- Add exclude=True to raw_json field to prevent serialization
- Remove redundant ternary in toast variant
- Convert ValueError to HTTPException in API endpoint

758500bc58 feat(platform): add competitor workflow import (n8n, Make.com, Zapier)
Enable one-click import of workflows from competitor platforms into AutoGPT.
Uses a hybrid approach: deterministic parsing extracts structured workflow
descriptions, then the CoPilot LLM pipeline generates equivalent AutoGPT
agent graphs with auto-fixing and validation.

Backend:
- New `copilot/workflow_import/` module with format detection, describers,
  URL fetcher (n8n templates API), and LLM-powered converter
- New `POST /api/import/competitor-workflow` endpoint
- 17 unit tests for format detection and description extraction

Frontend:
- New LibraryImportCompetitorDialog with file upload and URL paste modes
- Integrated into LibraryActionHeader alongside existing Upload button

0b594a219c feat(copilot): support prompt-in-URL for shareable prompt links (#12406)
Requested by @torantula

Add support for shareable AutoPilot URLs that contain a prompt in the
URL hash fragment, inspired by [Lovable's
implementation](https://docs.lovable.dev/integrations/build-with-url).

**URL format:**
- `/copilot#prompt=URL-encoded-text` — pre-fills the input for the user
to review before sending
- `/copilot?autosubmit=true#prompt=...` — auto-creates a session and
sends the prompt immediately

**Example:**
```
https://platform.agpt.co/copilot#prompt=Create%20a%20todo%20app
https://platform.agpt.co/copilot?autosubmit=true#prompt=Create%20a%20todo%20app
```

**Key design decisions:**
- Uses URL fragment (`#`) instead of query params — fragments never hit
the server, so prompts stay client-side only (better for privacy, no
backend URL length limits)
- URL is cleaned via `history.replaceState` immediately after extraction
to prevent re-triggering on navigation/reload
- Leverages existing `pendingMessage` + `createSession()` flow for
auto-submit — no new backend APIs needed
- For populate-only mode, passes `initialPrompt` down through component
tree to pre-fill the chat input

**Files changed:**
- `useCopilotPage.ts` — URL hash extraction logic + `initialPrompt`
state
- `CopilotPage.tsx` — passes `initialPrompt` to `ChatContainer`
- `ChatContainer.tsx` — passes `initialPrompt` to `EmptySession`
- `EmptySession.tsx` — passes `initialPrompt` to `ChatInput`
- `ChatInput.tsx` / `useChatInput.ts` — accepts `initialValue` to
pre-fill the textarea

Fixes SECRT-2119
