# Motorized_MQTT_Blinds
I forked to add a couple of other base sizes. This is a great project to get the idea of how things work, but the contollers weren't staying connected with my HomeAssistant instance. I ultimately use the hardware from this repo with [Tasmota](https://github.com/tasmota/tasmotizer) configured in [Cover mode](https://tasmota.github.io/docs/Blinds-and-Shutters/#using-stepper-motors) instead. The instructions look daunting, but it takes longer to read than to set up, and it's been running rock solid for months now...
Make sure you use 2208's for noise control, otherwise you can have a rude awakening!
