Jan Dvorak b5b7306bed Remove deprecated code from before v1.0
Remove deprecated code from before Meteor 1.0 that  was documented via XXX COMPAT in comments. Move deprecated packages into the deprecated folder (deps, livedata, srp).

Quick Start

On Linux/macOS, use this line:

curl https://install.meteor.com/ | sh

On Windows, use this line:

npm install -g meteor

Create a project:

meteor create try-meteor

Run it:

cd try-meteor
meteor

Uninstalling Meteor

Aside from a short launcher shell script, Meteor installs itself inside your home directory. To uninstall Meteor, run:

rm -rf ~/.meteor/
sudo rm /usr/local/bin/meteor
