## Description
This PR introduces a new skills-generate command that enables users to
generate standardized agent skills from their existing Toolbox tool
configurations. This facilitates the integration of Toolbox tools into
agentic workflows by automatically creating skill descriptions
(SKILL.md) and executable wrappers.
- New Subcommand: Implemented skills-generate, which automates the
creation of agent skill packages including metadata and executable
scripts.
- Skill Generation: Added logic to generate SKILL.md files with
parameter schemas and Node.js wrappers for cross-platform tool
execution.
- Toolset Integration: Supports selective generation of skills based on
defined toolsets, including support for both local files and prebuilt
configurations.
- Testing: Added unit tests for the generation logic and
integration tests for the CLI command.
- Documentation: Created a new "how-to" guide for generating skills and

feat(cli/invoke): add support for direct tool invocation from CLI ( #2353 )

## Description
This PR introduces a new subcommand, invoke, to the toolbox CLI. This
feature allows developers to execute tools defined in their
configuration directly from the command line.
- New Subcommand: Implemented invoke as subcommand, which handles tool
lookup, parameter unmarshaling from JSON, and invocation.
- Persistent Configuration Flags: Updated cmd/root.go to make flags like
--tools-file, --tools-folder, and --prebuilt persistent, allowing them
to be used with subcommands.
- Testing: Added unit tests for various scenarios
- Documentation: Created a new "how-to" guide for CLI tool testing and
updated the CLI reference documentation.

Updates all quickstart guides and samples to use the new `toolbox-adk`
package instead of the legacy `toolbox-core`. Also updates
`ToolboxToolset` usage to rely on the simplified constructor (implicit
authentication) and ensures correct dependency installation.
> [!NOTE]
> The integration tests are failing because the `google-adk` package is
not released yet with the newer changes from `toolbox-adk`. This is
expected behavior until the [package update](cl/853799009) is released.

This pull request adds a new tool, cloud-sql-restore-backup, which
enables restoring a backup onto a Cloud SQL instance from the toolbox
using the Cloud SQL Admin API. The tool supports restoring standard,
project level, and BackupDR backups.

Previously added `allowed-origins` (for CORs) is not sufficient for
preventing DNS rebinding attacks. We'll have to check host headers.
To test, run Toolbox with the following:

```
Test with the following:

curl -H "Host: 127.0.0.1:5000" http://127.0.0.1:5000
// will show Invalid Host Header error

how to connect Looker to Antigravity.
The new **"Connect with Antigravity"** section provides two methods for
connecting:
- **MCP Store:** A straightforward method using the built-in MCP Store
in Antigravity.
- **Custom config:** For connecting to a custom MCP server by adding a
configuration to the mcp_config.json file.
These changes will help users easily connect Looker to Antigravity.

## Description
According to the OTEL
([docs](https://pkg.go.dev/go.opentelemetry.io/otel/exporters/otlp/otlptrace/otlptracehttp#WithEndpoint )),
`WithEndpoint()` sets the target endpoint (host and port) the Exporter
will connect to. The provided endpoint should resemble
"example.com:4318" (no scheme or path). And it requires the endpoint to
be secure using `https://`.
To provide an insecure endpoint with `http://`, user will need to set
`OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_INSECURE=true`. This PR update the docs to reflect
this.

## Description

This pull request adds a new tool, cloud-sql-clone-instance, which
enables cloning a Cloud SQL instance from the toolbox using the Cloud
SQL Admin API. The tool supports both standard cloning and point-in-time
recovery (PITR). It also supports specifying preferred zones for cloned
instances via the preferredZone and preferredSecondaryZone fields.
Key Features:
Instance Cloning: The tool allows you to clone a Cloud SQL instance by
specifying the source and destination instance names.
Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR): By providing a pointInTime timestamp, you
can create a clone of an instance as it existed at a specific moment.
High Availability Configuration: The preferredZone and
preferredSecondaryZone parameters allow you to configure the cloned
instance for high availability.

Support `allowed-origins` flag to allow secure deployment of Toolbox.
Current Toolbox is **insecure by default**, which allows all origin
(`*`). This PR also updated docs to notify user of the new
`allowed-origins` flag in the Cloud Run, kubernetes, and docker
deployment docs.
This PR was tested manually by mocking a browser access:
1. Created a HTML file with Javascript fetch named
`malicious-client.html`:

## Description
This PR introduces a new How-to guide to deploy ADK Agent to Google
Cloud.
Following the updates to the ADK with Toolbox Local Quickstart (in
https://github.com/googleapis/genai-toolbox/pull/1962 ), this guide
provides the necessary steps to take a locally developed ADK agent and
deploy it to a production-like cloud environment.
The new guide covers the following workflow:
* Instructions (via link) to deploy the Toolbox server to Cloud Run.
* Using `uvx agent-starter-pack enhance` to scaffold deployment
configuration and adding `toolbox-core` as a dependency.
* Updating the agent code to connect to the remote Cloud Run URL.
* Running `make backend` to deploy the agent to Vertex AI Agent Engine.
* Verifying the deployment using the Agent Engine Playground.
This completes the user journey from local development to a fully
deployed architecture on Google Cloud.

feat(prebuiltconfig/neo4j): Add prebuiltconfig support for neo4j ( #1352 )

This pull request adds support and documentation for connecting Neo4j
databases using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and the MCP Toolbox. It
introduces a new prebuilt configuration for Neo4j, updates documentation
to guide users through setup across multiple IDEs, and adds tests to
ensure the new configuration is loaded correctly.
**Neo4j MCP Integration:**
* Added a new prebuilt configuration file `neo4j.yaml` defining
`execute_cypher` and `schema` tools for Neo4j, with support for
environment-based configuration.
* Updated the documentation (`neo4j_mcp.md`) with step-by-step
instructions for connecting Neo4j to various IDEs (e.g., VS Code,
Cursor, Claude, Gemini) using MCP Toolbox.
* Expanded the reference documentation to include Neo4j, detailing
required environment variables, permissions, and available tools.
**Testing and Codebase Updates:**
* Updated test cases in `prebuiltconfigs_test.go` to include Neo4j in
the list of expected tool sources and verify the Neo4j configuration can
be fetched and loaded.
